EXPO POSTPONED TO 2021
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic we have taken the difficult decision to delay the Plastics Extrusion World Expo and its co-located shows until November 3-4, 2021.
After consulting with exhibitors, the venue, local government and health authorities, it was clear that we would not be able to deliver the show the industry deserved. With these factors in mind, we felt delaying the exhibitions was the right thing to do.
The Plastics Extrusion World Expo returns to
Following the successful launch in 2019, the Plastics Extrusion World Expo returns to the Huntington Convention Center in down town Cleveland. This event brings together professionals from across the plastics extrusion industry for two days of networking, knowledge sharing and innovation. The free-to-attend trade show will run alongside the Compounding World Expo, Plastics Recycling World Expo and Polymer Testing World Expo.
Your free ticket provides admission to the show floor which will have exhibits from leaders in the plastics extrusion industry and focused conference theaters with a busy two-day program of technical presentations, seminars and industry debates.

Cross Wrap Dewiring shortlisted as Recycling Machinery Innovation of the Year 2020
Cross Wrap Oy has been shortlisted for the prestigious Plastics Recycling Awards Europe 2020 for CW Dewiring machine in Recycling Machinery Innovation of the Year category. The award winners will be announced on 26th of March, during the second day of the Plastics Recycling Show Europe taking place at RAI Amsterdam.
“This is a great honor for us to be shortlisted as a Recycling Machinery Innovation of the Year 2020.
We are proud to present the automatic CW Dewiring, which is engineered to improve both safety and production rate in plastic recycling. The traditional manual wire cutting does not meet safety standards in today’s world, and it neither comply with the production demands of modern plastic recycling operations. For these reasons, Cross Wrap has developed the new automatic and safe CW Dewiring technology.
Our CW Dewiring has been acquired by numerous advanced recycling companies, who have taken the next step in improving their operational safety and efficiency. We are delighted to hear and see good results from them accompanied by additional investments to Cross Wrap Dewiring machines.
Finally, Mr. Kivelä would like to thank the customers who have already invested in CW Dewiring technology. They are the forerunners in creating safer bale Dewiring operation.
The CW Dewiring machine cuts, removes and coils the bale wires automatically. It increases safety, production rate and lowers operation costs in plastic recycling. For more information on the awards visit: https://prseventeurope.com/prse2020/en/page/awards
Cross Wrap will be exhibiting at the Plastics Recycling World Expo at Messe Essen, 3-4 June on stand b1021.
