Dr. Ramesh is the Senior Vice President at Revolution Company, leading Polymer Technology and R&D Innovation activities to develop new sustainable solutions for customers. He collaborates with internal and external networks to accelerate development for making agricultural films & bags, irrigation polytubes, trash bags, consumer/food contact films, industrial/construction films, cast/stretch films and post-consumer recycled resins. Before joining Revolution, he worked in various global R&D leadership roles at Sealed Air, Velcro, and Smurfit WestRock companies and commercialized several products successfully. He holds Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University and attended the Polymer Rheology Training at MIT, Boston, MA. He was inducted into Sealed Air Inventors Hall of Fame for the granted 23 US Patents that made huge impact in the plastics industry. He is the Chair of the SPE's Thermoplastic Materials & Foams Board. He has won numerous R&D Awards including the 2019 SPE Outstanding Achievement Award. Most recently, he received 2024 Innovation Award of Excellence from Revolution for his technical contributions. He has co-authored 5 Polymeric Foams books and 100+ technical publications in the areas of plastics processing, foam/film extrusion, biopolymers, and mechanical recycling of sustainable materials.
