David is a business editor who has worked at leading international publications, including European Plastics News, PRW, Metal Bulletin and Petroleum Economist.

In an editorial career which started in 1991, his experience in addition to business journalism has covered international conferences and exhibitions, as well as awards and other events.

From 2003 to 2017, David worked on PRW and European Plastics News (relaunched as Plastics News Europe), leading publications and online news services for plastics manufacturers. The two publications were sold by Emap to Crain Communications in 2007. He also played an integral part in the launch of successful events, including Plastics Design & Moulding exhibition, Product Design + Innovation conference and Plastics Recycling Show Europe.

David’s knowledge of other global industries comes from eight years of experience as an editor on metals and mining publication Metal Bulletin, and a three-year spell writing about the oil and gas industries for Petroleum Economist.

He attained a BA in English Language and Literature from King’s College London, University of London.
